Omaha man found guilty of distribution of meth

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An Omaha man was found guilty by a jury on Aug. 26 for conspiracy to distribute meth, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska.

Juan Carlos Cardenas Portugal, 46, was found guilty after a two-and-a-half-day trial.

Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 4. Cardenas Portugal faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life imprisonment…
