A San Antonio-area H-E-B sold the life-changing Texas Two Step ticket, according to a media release, but the $200,000 award has been without an owner for months. The lucky (or, if they miss the deadline, not so lucky) patron bought it at a grocery store at 909 10th St. in Floresville. If that rings a bell, you may want to search your car or reorganize your home in search of it.
The ticket matched all four of the white ball numbers drawn on Monday, March 9, which were 1-2-21-23, and the red Bonus Ball 19. If not validated this week, the buyers can say goodbye to any prize money. Under Texas Lottery rules, a customer forfeits their award if they do not claim it within 180 days of the draw. There are only a few exceptions for eligible military personnel. Otherwise, the cash goes back to state programs authorized by the Texas Legislature, the release states.
