The parent of a Southeast High School student is calling for an investigation into and the potential termination of a teacher, saying he used a racial slur while speaking to students during class last month.

Ariane Davis, the mother of 14-year-old Ramona Davis, said she received a phone call from Southeast administrators on Aug. 21 after her daughter reported that one of her teachers had used the N-word while addressing students.
