Pedestrian taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Officers in D.C. are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian hospitalized Thursday afternoon.

It all happened in the 7700 block of Georgia Avenue on Sept. 3.

Minutes after 4 p.m., officers were called to the area for a crash. The on-scene investigation noted that the vehicle struck the pedestrian, who was taken to the hospital, according to D.C. police. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
