BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 13-year-old boy arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in east Bakersfield has been committed to a juvenile detention center for up to 36 weeks after admitting to charges of second-degree murder and assault with a gun, according to prosecutors.
Daniel Rios also was placed on probation until he’s 25 during a hearing Thursday in juvenile court, District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Daniela Gonzaga said.
