Funeral arrangements have been announced for Benedict College’s late athletic director, Willie Washington, who passed away on Aug. 31, at the age of 79.
According to the announcement, a celebration of life for Washington will take place on Sept. 9, at First Nazareth Baptist Church, 2351 Gervais St. in Columbia, starting at 11 a.m.
