EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man is facing multiple felony charges after police say a dispute over a stolen handgun led to a victim being held against her will on Franklin Street.
According to police, the incident began late Wednesday outside KC’s Time Out Lounge off Washington Avenue. Police said Ladarrius Barnes and another suspect robbed a victim of his handgun.
During the robbery, Barnes reportedly left his cell phone charging inside the victim’s vehicle.
The following day, a trade was arranged to swap the stolen handgun for Barnes’ phone near the Franklin Street Tavern, according to the police report…
