Lawsuit filed against Amazon after child hit by truck in Travelers Rest

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The parents of an Upstate boy have filed a lawsuit against Amazon and a delivery driver, one year after the child was struck by a delivery truck while riding his bicycle.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday, stems from August 2025. According to the filing, 10-year-old Ethan was riding his bicycle in his Travelers Rest neighborhood when he was hit by the Amazon delivery vehicle.

Ethan’s parents accuse the driver of failing to pay attention and failing to slow down. The lawsuit alleges that the child was severely injured and faces permanent health consequences.

Amazon has not yet filed a response to the lawsuit…
