JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 41-year-old man is facing charges after the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it found over 400,000 potentially lethal doses of fentanyl and other drugs in his Westside home.
Officials said they got information that Christopher Herndon was selling fentanyl, so they got a warrant and searched his home on Potomac Avenue on Aug. 27.
JSO said it seized:
- 849.2 grams of fentanyl
- 1.33 kilograms of methamphetamine
- 1.25 kilograms of powder cocaine
- 57.3 grams of crack cocaine
- 14.3 grams of marijuana
- Nearly $12,000
- 3 cars
According to an arrest report, detectives found blue fentanyl powder around a master bedroom toilet, which investigators believe may indicate an attempt to destroy evidence before law enforcement arrived.
