(NewsNation) — A Baptist church in Conway, South Carolina, says it has been mistakenly targeted by people following the release of a Netflix documentary about the death of Mica Miller.
Mercy Baptist Church said it has been confused with Mercy Church in Myrtle Beach, where Mica Miller’s husband, JP Miller, is now a pastor.
According to the church, protesters have targeted Mercy Church since the documentary’s release, and Mercy Baptist Church has begun receiving similar messages, phone calls and comments on social media. The church said businesses that support it have also received hateful messages.
