Raleigh police responded to a shots-fired call just after 10 p.m. Thursday, according to WRAL. Officers arriving in the neighborhood near Beacon Crest Way found close to 20 shell casings in the roadway, and bullets had struck a home and two nearby parked vehicles. Police told the station that residents inside the home were not hurt during the shooting.
The suspects, described only as at least three men who fired from a distance, escaped before they could be identified, per officials cited by the station’s report. The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests had been announced as of the latest update.
