A man who was arrested last month for allegedly assaulting a female college student is now facing more rape charges from a separate incident, Baton Rouge police say.
Elijah Clyde, 24, is already being held in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on counts of third-degree rape, sexual battery, theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. As of Friday, he is facing additional counts of attempted third-degree rape, sexual battery and second-degree kidnapping.
