Cars packed an overflow parking lot in Joe Brown Park on Thursday night as residents came to voice their opinions on the city’s plans to replace its aging City District Court and City Hall buildings and a possible new annex in New Orleans East.
But Nga Vu of New Orleans East had a different idea.
“Why bring an annex, another building, when they can bring the whole City Hall to New Orleans East?” Vu said. “We have the land. It’s affordable. Bring the whole thing here.”…
