Person suffers burns during house fire in NE Vancouver

VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) – A person suffered minor burns during a house fire in Vancouver on Friday afternoon, according to the Vancouver Fire Department.

Just before 2:30 p.m., crews with VFD and Clark County Fire District 6 were sent to a reported fire on Northeast 70th Street. However, by the time they arrived, the fire had been put out, according to firefighters.

Crews searched the house to make sure it the flames hadn’t spread to any hidden areas.

A person at the house was treated for burns by an emergency medical crew at the scene, but they declined an ambulance ride to the hospital…
