TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle in Troy on Friday night. The incident happened on 8th Street, near Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Winslow Building.

Troy Police Chief Steven Barker said the Troy Police Department and the Troy Fire Department responded to the scene to assist the pedestrian and investigate the incident.
Barker said the pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle involved also remained at the scene.
