A Manor family is demanding answers after a teacher allegedly assaulted their 9-year-old son at school last week, according to the boy’s father.
Michael Nathan, 47, a former English teacher at Presidential Meadows Elementary School, was arrested and charged with injury to a child. Manor ISD confirmed Nathan is no longer employed by the district.
The boy’s father, who asked to be identified only as Belay to protect his family’s privacy, said his son is now scared to go to school. Belay, who has lived in Manor for eight years, said his son was born in the city and had never had problems at school before…
