In 2021 Glenn and Michelle Hofer, purchased the Foxboro Golf Course. In 2022 Glenn Hofer, Owner of Ridgeview Development presented his Autumn Ridge and Foxboro Golf Course Develop Plan to the Oregon Village Board. He stated his plan was, “to improve the maintenance and operation so Foxboro would be successful for the long term and any property owner adjacent to the course would not be affected.”
Glenn Hofer leased the course to Mike Kerig making him responsible for its operation and maintenance. Since 2022 the quality of the course has been in steady freefall. The list of improvements needed has grown year after year with improvements to golf carts, mowers and service vehicles being the main focus. The result, Foxboro became substandard causing the decrease in membership and course play which has grown year after year.
If you review the interaction Hofer has had with village staff beginning in 2023, it clearly shows Glenn and Michelle had one intention when they bought the golf course in 2021. That was future residential development!…
