NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — In preparation for the 54th annual Southern Decadence this weekend, the New Orleans Police Department issued traffic closures and parking enforcements.
From Friday, Sept. 4, through Sunday, Sept. 6, the French Quarter Interior Closure will be in effect from 4 p.m. through 4 a.m. each day.
Additionally, NOPD officers will close the streets leading to Bourbon Street to vehicle traffic, with the exception of emergency vehicles.

NOPD officials will establish “No Parking” zones within the 700 and 800 blocks between Dauphine and Royal streets, on both sides of the following streets:
- Conti Street
- Dumaine Street
- Orleans Street
- St. Ann Street
- St. Louis Street
- St. Peter Street
- St. Philip Street
- Toulouse Street
NOPD officials said the “No Parking” zones will be in effect from Sept. 4 through Sept. 7 at 6 a.m.
