WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) — A mid-60s Germantown resident has suffered serious injuries after being hit by an out-of-state individual believed to be under the influence at the time of the crash.

According to a press release, around 4:00 p.m. on September 3, officers found the bicyclist at Division Road and Western Avenue in the town of Jackson, with severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
First responders were also notified on their way to the scene that witnesses had seen the vehicle that hit the bicyclist flee the scene.
