Caseyville Solar Project Moves Forward

The Caseyville Village Board Meeting on September 2 opened at 7pm, all members were present.

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

The first speaker for citizens input, Deb Doughty, noted that the alert system in the community can be used to inform residents of things like the recent stabbing in the neighborhood, or the body that was found by the railroad tracks. She would like the police to implement that. She claimed that there are no local patrols by police officers. She also called for transparency regarding the lawsuit that was voted on and approved last week. Doughty cited the price to repave a parking lot at 300k and noted that it seemed high, and asked if reputable bids were received…
