A car had to be pulled from the Port Washington Narrows at Lions Park in Bremerton Friday afternoon and its driver was taken to the hospital.
The Bremerton Police Department in a statement said officers received a report of a car driving into the water off the boat launch at Lions Park, on the city’s east side, the afternoon of Sept. 4. The driver was the only person in the car and was reportedly helped to shore by a bystander, who dove into the water.
