In-N-Out Burger to open in San Antonio’s Merc development

The California burger chain has not yet released a timeline for the opening, but the new location will be its fourth outpost in San Antonio. It will open in the Merc, an upcoming mixed-use development currently under construction on UTSA Boulevard.

The Merc is a 112-acre center with multi-family housing, golf, a beer garden and food trucks. Eventually, the $350 million build will also include 1,600 apartments, 200,000 square feet of retail and commercial space and outdoor amenities like pickleball and an ice house.

In-N-Out is joining a line of restaurants that include açai bowl chain Pure Green, Hawaiian Bros. Island Grill and a new sushi concept from the founders of Wild Goji. All the restaurants are scheduled to open in 2027…
