ST. LOUIS – Another very hot day is ahead, with heat index values climbing above 105 and pushing 110 in some spots. We’ll have plenty of sunshine early, but clouds will increase for some this afternoon as a few isolated showers and storms develop.
A weak cold front will dip into the region this evening and tonight, bringing some relief from the heat for Sunday and Monday. Sunday will still be hot, but temperatures will be relatively cooler, with highs in the lower half of the 90s. Dewpoints will also come down throughout the day, making it feel less humid.
Monday looks to be the most comfortable day of the holiday weekend, with highs near 90 and lower humidity…
