HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Phillip Fletcher’s mother is marking two years since her 15-year-old son was shot and killed, using a Stop the Violence event to remember him.
Phillip’s memorial still stands near Max Luther and the Parkway two years after his death. His mother, Glenda Wesley, says her message has not changed.
“Stop the gun violence because kids shouldn’t be able to get a hold of guns. In my case, they were 16 at the time, but they shouldn’t be able to get a hold of guns, and I shouldn’t have to bury my child,” Wesley said…
