Much of Toledo’s downtown business district will close to vehicles at 7:30 a.m. Monday for the Labor Day Parade, the Toledo Department of Transportation announced.
The parade will step off at 9 a.m. on Summit Street near Monroe Street and proceed north on Summit to Jackson Street, west to Huron Street, and south on Huron to conclude near Huron and Washington streets.
Starting about 7:30 a.m., all streets east of but not including Erie Street will be closed between Jackson and Lafayette streets. Summit Street will be closed all the way from Clayton Street, near the Anthony Wayne Bridge, to Cherry Street. Superior Street will be closed as far north as Orange Street…
