Woman arrested with BAC almost 4x the legal limit, officials say

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville woman was arrested with a blood alcohol content almost 4 times the legal limit.

According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, 53-year-old Heather Pratt-Posner was arrested outside a restaurant in the 600 block of Boonville-New Harmony Road.

Officials say they received a call around 4:00 p.m. about a possible intoxicated driver who was crossing yellow lines and running people off the road. The reporter followed the driver into the restaurant’s parking lot and waited for police to arrive.

They say Pratt-Posner refused to give a breath sample at the scene, but blew a .301 at the Vanderburgh County Jail nearly 3 1/2 hours later…
