Florida Man Accused of Using AI To Create Explicit Images of Women Without Their Consent

A Florida man is facing multiple charges after police say he used artificial intelligence to create sexually explicit images of women without their consent. Investigators now believe the case may extend considerably further than the victim whose report initially brought the conduct to their attention.

According to the Vero Beach Police Department, 37-year-old Peter Solomon Ruma was arrested following an investigation into altered sexual images that investigators say were both created and distributed. Police say photographs obtained through social media and other online sources were used to create some of the material.

The current charges involve one woman and incidents police say occurred between June and August 2026. However, detectives identified several additional women they believe may have been subjected to similar conduct during the course of their investigation…
