A Chicago man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder for chasing down and shooting another man during a dispute outside a Chinatown nightclub last year. Terris Williams, 32, was given an eight-year sentence after entering the plea before Judge Steven Watkins, court records show.
It was about closing time on February 9, 2025, when Chicago cops responded to calls of shots fired in the 400 block of West 24th Street. CPD said a 35-year-old man had gotten into a fight with several people, pepper spray had been used inside the club, and someone had shot out a security guard’s car window. The brawl eventually broke up and the group dispersed.
