Construction On The Bowker Overpass In Its Second Phase

BOSTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you find yourself on the Bowker Overpass in the Fenway-Kenmore area, it’s likely you’ve noticed the construction.

“We have a couple of projects planned,” MassDOT State Highway Administrator Jonathan Gulliver said. “One that we’re currently in now is an $84 million project that’s going to rebuild and widen the overpass, and it’s going to add a lot of other amenities to it as well. We have a pretty significant amount of work we’ve been doing.”

Construction began last summer and is slated to end in the Winter of 2029. The project will be completed through seven different phases; they’re currently in the second phase of development…
