LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bean Coffee in Louisville is collecting food donations for families in Gary, Indiana, as communities in northwest Indiana continue recovering from recent severe storms that left some areas without power for weeks.
Stacks of donated food are being gathered at the coffee shop before being sent to people affected by the storms. Owner Billy Seckman said using the business as a collection site is part of a broader commitment to community support.
