AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Air and Space Museum in Amarillo invites the community to experience World War II aircraft with Commemorative Air Force Warbirds this weekend.
The Air Power History Tour event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13, at Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport. The following aircraft will be featured at the event: B-29 “FiFi”, the B-24 “Diamond Lil”, the AT-6 “Texan” and the PT-13 Stearman.

Access to the ramp, where guests can tour the aircraft cockpits, is priced at $20 for adults, $10 for youth ages 11-17, and free for kids under 10 years old.
Guests will also have an opportunity to ride inside the Warbirds; rides are purchased separately from ramp access tickets. Guests can purchase rides by visiting the Air Power History Tour website.
The aircraft will also be open to the public for rides and tours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Officials said the B-29 flies Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; a ride in the PT-13 Stearman will be raffled off, and other aircraft rides will be available…
