DERBY, Kan. (KWCH) – Derby fire crews responded to an elementary school on Sunday evening.
The director of communications for Derby Public Schools said that the head custodian at Tanglewood Elementary School smelled smoke and reported it.
Emergency crews quickly responded. The district said that there is no damage to Tanglewood’s kitchen or cafeteria, and school will be in session as scheduled on Tuesday. Crews are working to clear the smell of smoke throughout the building…
