Another 90 Day Fiancé couple is ending their journey together.
Ashley Michelle, who appeared on Season 10 of the TLC reality series, revealed on Instagram that she is divorcing her husband, Manuel Velez, after four years of marriage.
Sharing a heartfelt message alongside a nostalgic photo from their beach wedding, Ashley wrote, “What a shame, tomorrow is our 4-year anniversary, and I’m officially asking for a divorce. I have felt unsupported by you for years, and now when I am in my most vulnerable state you have done NOTHING to support me.
I am DONE. Do not come back to this house.”
This announcement came shortly after Ashley underwent a tummy tuck and breast lift following a remarkable weight loss of over 150 pounds. She expressed feelings of loneliness during her recovery on social media, posting, “We were never meant to heal alone.
And needing someone behind you doesn’t make the journey any less yours. Support doesn’t make you weaker.
It gives you somewhere safe to step into the biggest version of you.”
Ashley and Manuel’s story began in Ecuador when they first met during her undergraduate study trip in 2010. Seven years later, she returned to Ecuador, and within a week, they got engaged. Manuel moved to the U.S. in 2022 to be with Ashley, leaving behind his two teenage sons, and they married in September of that year.
Fans, familiar with the couple’s rocky past, expressed sympathy and support for Ashley’s decision. One follower commented, “So sorry this is happening!
You’ve done so much for yourself and him. I always loved how you did everything to make sure he was comfortable and had support here in the States.
You deserve happiness and everything good in the world.” Another added, “You have worked way too hard on yourself to accept the bare minimum from any human being, let alone someone who’s supposed to be your biggest support system.”
Manuel has not yet responded publicly to the divorce announcement. Their last shared moment on Instagram was a video posted in February 2026 of the couple dancing together before the Bad Bunny Super Bowl Halftime Show.
