Florida is expanding its SunTrax transportation technology campus in Auburndale to include Advanced Air Mobility, or “flying cars,” alongside its existing autonomous and connected vehicle testing. The 775-acre facility will host eVTOL aircraft testing by the end of 2026 and features the nation’s first dedicated AAM Aerial Test Track. State partnerships with Embry-Riddle and Polk State College are also helping prepare Florida’s workforce for emerging transportation technologies.
