MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A woman indicted for a fatal wreck was worked was the caregiver of all three men who were riding in her car, according to family members of one of the victims.
It happened on Feb. 8 – Super Bowl Sunday – near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Callahan Drive in Mobile. Henry Johnson III and David Parker both died, and a third man suffered injuries. Shurmeeka Renita Hall, 48, of Mobile, faces two counts of reckless murder and one count of first-degree assault. She remained behind bars Sunday at Mobile County Metro Jail, her bail set at $700,000.
