PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – Prichard Mayor Carletta Davis and members of the Prichard City Council will hold a press conference at noon Tuesday at Prichard City Hall to provide an update on the city’s ongoing effort to rebuild the Prichard Police Department, it was announced.
During the press conference, Davis will announce and introduce the PoliHire representative who will lead the executive search process for Prichard’s next chief of police, according to a news release.
The city has partnered with PoliHire to conduct the search for an experienced law-enforcement executive capable of leading the transformation and rebuilding of the police department, the release states. It goes on to say Prichard is seeking “a transformational leader committed to accountability, integrity, professional policing, effective public safety and rebuilding community trust.”…
