NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man died following a shootout in a residential parking garage along Broadway Monday morning, law enforcement said.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the incident took place around 9:15 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 7 in the 1200 Broadway apartment building’s parking garage.

Authorities said there was an “exchange of gunfire” that killed one man. Officials are working to identify him at this time.
News 2 received a copy of an email sent to 1200 Broadway residents, saying, “We’ve had an isolated incident on P5 which is currently being investigated by police. We do not have all the details at this time, but the P5 pet park, elevator lobby and parking near these areas will not be accessible for a few hours.”
