SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A SWAT standoff ensued in San Diego Sunday night after the suspect allegedly attempted to break into a car wash in El Cajon.
Lt. Michael Murphy with the El Cajon Police Department said officers received a report around 9 p.m. of a man with a knife breaking into a car wash in the 100 block of South First Street and damaging the property.
When officers arrived, they were flagged down by a woman who said the suspect had allegedly also robbed her at knifepoint…
