Janet Ackerman and Mary Nowaczyk were toddlers when they first marched in Toledo’s Labor Day parade with their father, the late Frank Ackerman, and Bricklayers Local 3.
Along with their two other sisters, they later marched for Clay High School and have been attending the parade ever since.
