Route 66 stop in Amarillo brings Caravan to Catch a Killer to cold case families

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — For families of cold case victims, years can pass without answers. Dr. Maggie Zingman knows that reality firsthand — and she is using her own loss to help other families across the country keep searching.

Zingman’s daughter, Brittany Phillips, was murdered in Tulsa in 2004. More than two decades later, the case remains unsolved. Zingman has turned her grief into a mission, traveling the country through her Caravan to Catch a Killer and connecting with families who are also searching for answers.
