A 60-year-old man with 15 felony convictions walked into a Chicago home and tried to rob a construction crew at gunpoint. It didn’t end the way he planned.
William Garrett allegedly entered a home being rehabbed in West Pullman, pointed what looked like a real firearm at four workers, and forced them to their knees. He grabbed their tools, a nail gun, batteries, a charger, a toolkit, stuffed them in a backpack, and ran.
That’s where things fell apart for him.
