MSHP Troop G reports three injury accidents this weekend

A man from West Plains was flown to Cox South in Springfield after a moped accident south of West Plains on Saturday. The Highway Patrol reports that the 67-year-old was driving on the shoulder of the road, hit debris, and overturned. The accident happened on Highway 63, three miles south of West Plains.

A 10-year-old girl from Ellington was injured in an ATV accident Saturday north of Ellington. The Highway Patrol says the girl was injured when the ATV she was on, driven by a 26-year-old man from Belleview, traveled off the road at a high rate of speed and overturned. The girl suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

Three people were injured in an accident north of Willow Springs on Sunday. The Highway Patrol reports that a 21 year old woman from Mountain Grove suffered moderate injuries, a 20 year old man from Willow Springs and a 20 year old man from Springfield both suffered minor injuries when the man from Springfield drove off the road and overturned the car he was driving.
