TAMPA, Fla. — If you drive on North Florida Avenue, you will want to give yourself a few extra minutes this week.
Starting today, city crews are shutting down the outside northbound lane between East Amelia Avenue and East Columbus Drive to work on the water system. The sidewalk right next to that stretch is blocked off, too.
The closure started at 8 a.m. today, but for the rest of the week, the lane will close at 9 a.m. and reopen by 4 p.m. so evening traffic can get through…
