Palm Beach County School Cop Suspended Over Student Relationship Violations

The Internal Affairs Investigation sustained five separate policy violations against Delgado. Investigators found he violated policy on relationships with students, transporting citizens, prohibited activity on duty, on-duty responsibilities and standard of conduct, according to documents reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com.

Mooney had originally proposed a 90-day revocation of Delgado’s take-home car privileges on top of the 40-hour suspension. She reduced that to 30 days following an August 11 pre-determination meeting, while keeping the 40-hour suspension in place. The discipline is set to take effect September 17, with Delgado serving his suspension in October.
