At a time when Walmarts, Costcos and other big box stores seem to dominate the retail landscape, the antithesis is thriving in downtown Wheaton.
On Front Street in that DuPage County town sits the 49-inch-wide Little Popcorn Store, selling candy and popcorn. The structure is so narrow, WBEZ’s reporter couldn’t even stretch both arms inside.
