Pedestrian dead, bystander hurt near Ruby and Teutonia after hit-and-run followed by second crash

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A 24-year-old pedestrian died and a bystander who stopped to help was injured after two separate cars hit them near Ruby and Teutonia avenues on Monday night, Sept. 7, according to Milwaukee police.

Police say a car traveling south hit the pedestrian at around 11:15 p.m. and fled the scene. A witness stopped to help the victim, and while doing so, a second car, also traveling south, hit both the witness and the pedestrian.
