NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, or AFL-CIO, held its Labor Day picnic in New Orleans City Park on Monday, Sept. 7.
It is the 28th year the organization has brought people together to promote conversations around labor unions on Labor Day. Local and state politicians joined in to meet constituents who are looking for representatives who can promote their cause.
