CORVALLIS, Ore. – Damaris Kibiwot earned LC State’s first Cascade Conference Athlete of the Week honor of the 2026-27 school year on Monday when she was voted the CCC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
The junior from Kenya won the Lewis & Clark XC Opener in Portland on Friday to help No. 21 LC State Women’s Cross Country to a team win in the 5k. She led a group of Warriors that earned the top three individual spots and was the first to cross the line with a time of 18:09.8.
