RAVENNA, Ohio (WJW) — A blind horse is getting a second chance at life and a new home.
American Quarter Horse Jackson, believed to be in his early twenties, came to Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary in Ravenna in July through the sanctuary’s owner relinquish program, after being referred by another rescue in West Virginia.

Development Director and caregiver Lissy Kuhn, from Happy Trails, said when Jackson arrived in late July, he was already completely blind and suffering from painful inflammation in both eyes.
