BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office released body-worn camera footage of a deputy shooting and wounding a man armed with a sword in Rosamond in August, and the events leading up to the incident.
The video released on Tuesday was edited and produced by KCSO. It leaves out certain details through redactions, such as the suspect’s medical information, living conditions in the area and graphic images of his gunshot wounds.

The video included a 911 call made by the suspect, Joshua Dribin, complaining of someone who allegedly revs their vehicle engine near his car whenever he goes to bed at night.
